SOTA with PRC-320...

A few months ago I got the PRC-320 - British military transceiver used on the battlefields (hopefully military exercises only) in 1980..1990. Like most of military devices is very robust, build from easy to replace modules and ...heavy. Ideal candidate for ...SOTA :)))

So some day equipped with radio, batteries (lipo), cables, antennas, sandwiches and other necessary equipment I went to HB/ZH-006...

This nice radio weights around 12kg (with the rack) so even relatively easy Bürgeln (around 20km south from Zurich) became unforgettable adventure :)

I made several QSO on CW and SSB with around 30w power.
